Research data in the Catalogue of the ADP represent a vibrant resource for secondary use:
- data can be used to replicate already conducted analyses,
- data can be used to investigate new research questions,
- new methods of analysis can be used on data,
- longitudinal and international comparative analyses can be made.
Many studies in the Catalogue of the ADP include data, collected on a larger sample, that individual researchers or small research groups are able to collect due to financial and/or time restrictions.
Data and materials from the Catalogue of the ADP are most frequently used for:
Study purposes
- seminar work for individual classes
- diploma or master thesis
- doctoral dissertation
- preparation of a scientific or professional publication (for example conference submission, article, monograph etc.)
Research and education purposes
- preparation of a research project
- implementation of a research project
